Love is in the air and i can’t find better songs to serve as theme songs for this year’s Valentine season than these two tracks from Djinee titled My Pillow and Thank You Feat. Lindsey.
The multi-talented artist who is most famous for his lovely and unique voice in addition to being credited as one of the few Nigerian artists to always give live performances at shows instead of lip-synching to his tape/cd, dishes out noteworthy lines on these two tracks in a manner that is sure to leave you breathless.
My Pillow and Thank You are songs dedicated to a lover and friend, giving praise and appreciation for what that person stands for. I can’t but mention that i was swept away by the beautiful rhythm and lovely lyrics of these songs which will be featured as bonus tracks on Djinee’s upcoming sophomore album expected to be released sometime this year.
I am sure Djinee wouldn’t mind if i borrow a line or two from either of these songs this season, because i am really feeling this line from My Pillow; “let me be your warrior tonight-I’ll save your heart tonight, right here on my pillow we’ll lay here till tomorrow..i will follow, your body i will follow…….Wicked flows and i am sure you too would concur!!!
