Remember the name “Paybac”? He was responsible for the underground Lagos anthem “Gidi Lights” which also featured a relatively unknown rapper by the name “Random”. Gidi lights received a lot of positive response from critics and hip-hop lovers all over the nation.
The song is a freestyle done on legendary Hip-Hop producer DJ Premier’s beat for 2010’s BET awards Cypher. Listen and compare this to the 2011 cypher done by our own established Naija rappers. Other members of St. Oz Gang include Bobby Combz, Random, Barzini, Ohdes and Kid M.A.R.L.E.Y.
