Lagos Nigeria; January 1, 2012: The heat at the Nigerian Idol Season 2 reality TV show just gets hotter as the show enters the Top 30 contestants gear. At the weekend the show kicked of the Top 30 contestants screening at the Dream Studios, which brought to stage sizzling performance from 10 contestants out of 30 contestants.
The reality TV show sponsored by Nigeria`s fastest growing telecommunications company, Etisalat Nigeria and other sponsors, added to the number of its judges at the first screening of its Top 30 contestants, thereby hosting its first guest judge at the Nigerian Idol Season 2, Kenny Saint Brown, a popular Nigerian gospel artiste who holds the record for the top female gospel artiste in Nigeria.
The aim according to the Music Director of the Nigerian Idol Show, Kehinde Dacosta-Lawrence, is to bring deeper insight to the contestants for other presentations and the viewers at home who are seeking on better ways to sing.
Manager, Youth Segment, Etisalat Nigeria, Idiare Alimomo said Nigerian Idol is a means to keep the dreams of youths alive and Etisalat, being a youthful brand intends to make stars amongst the Nigeria youths. He urged people to watch the show and vote for their favorite contestants.
The audience was able to enjoy sizzling performance from the ten contestants, Temi, Joy, Chinedu, Bhabar, Isreal, Nikky, Buelah, Byno, Paul and Najita from which seven would be selected to go home while three would stay back for the Top Ten spot.
Idiare said, the show is just getting better and better as it hits the Top 30 stage. The remaining top 30 contestants screening would run for the next two weeks in which 10 contestants would be would be screened and at the end of the Top 30 screening 10 contestants would be selected to make the Top Ten spot.

The reality TV show sponsored by Nigeria`s fastest growing telecommunication company, Etisalat Nigeria and other sponsors, kicked off the screening of the Top 30 contestants while hosting one of Nigeria`s finest gospel artiste, KSB, who along with the other judges of the show increased the tension in the contestants and gave accurate judgment and advise so as to prepare them for other presentations.

The other Top 30 Contestants screening would hold for the next two weeks in which 10 contestants would be screened and at the end of the day, 3 would be selected to make up the Top Ten Spot. The last contestant would be the judges` choice.
