Wizkid Snubs Nigeria In New Music Video?

Starboy has been busy this year; first, dropping a song that refuses to leave our countdown for almost 3 months and now the huge record deal with RCA and Sony Music International. Wizkid is showing no sign of relaxing.

Now “Sweet Love“; we know it is an appreciation song/video to his fans in African countries but we seem to be perplexed as to why Wizzy decides to exclude anything Naija related in the montage. A video like this should at least project your host country.

Mind you, we have seen other unconventional videos like this from Vector, Yemi Alade and even D’banj and they all project Nigeria.

No matter how much you are loved in diaspora, no love could be sweeter than that of your local fans. Watch the video again (especially for those of you who probably never cared to notice that Naija wasn’t represented) and please let us know your thoughts on this development.
