Paul Okoye Comes For Ynaija Over Copy Cat Accusations.

Some hours ago, Ynaija, did a review of Muno‘s new video, Slow Slow, and ended up labeling  Paul Okoye’s a copy cat.

According to Ynaija, Paul Okoye copied the same concept as Rihanna’s work video and still did not do a good job at copying.

According to Ynaija:

The video is set in a supposed Jamaican club setting along with a sepia-tone theme just like the X directed video.

Paul then copies the same opening of the Work video by introducing us to close up shots of people dancing in slow motions.

He then continues to repeat the same scene while trying to transition to another where girls are on what looks like a dance battle stage reminiscent of Psquare’s 2007 video – Roll It.

He might want to argue that he was inspired by the the original Work video as he added an alley scene which looked like something of an after-thought and a lazy attempt.

We are not as annoyed by the copying though, as we are by the fact of its poor copy.

The video vixens looked like they begged for a spot in the video. Everything just looked poor.

Paul, isn’t having none of it as he took to social media to blast the news site. He wrote:

Let me help u out here…no matter how hard u try you can never be as @officiallindaikeji…in fact Linda can not even employ you as a cook….ewu mmeeehhhh

Oh well…2016, phew!!!!

  6. Kinda funny I had the same verdict as Ynaija when I watched the video before even knowing they had labelled it.

  7. I tire for some people with their bad belle o, won’t you mind your own business, the video super great…

  8. Bad belle people

  9. Naija wld never sees to amaze some one. All they do and spend their time. Is to gossip or talk about other people. Let me give you guys a break down. As Ynaija said that paul Okoye copies Rihannas work. Is it bad. No I don’t think so. Because in music it is allowed to an extent as far as you are using the sane words Rihanna used or the words of the artist you are using his rhythm. The fact is that a good artist is always good. An when you see one you wld know. Muno who was recently signed under paul okoye’s record label wasmy brother from the same music studio. He grew up from a studio popularly know as Hit rash production, where Korede bello also grew up before he joined Don’t Jazzy Record label. I have listened to Muni’s song. He is hot and he is a good artist. I am an artist also like him, If am 70 percent, I wld say mumo is 99% even more than his boss Paul Okoye, why because he has a unique voice which is excellent and natural so he can blend to any song you give to him and I guess thats the talent Paul Okoye saw in him and liked him and signed him. Really wanted to do a song with Muno. But Due to some personal issues i couldn’t do a song with him. But all the same my dear brothers and sister. Muno and Paul Okoye are just good. So let’s stop all this our critics. It doesn’t help us. Its best for Ynaija to relalease their own song and stop all this critics because it can’t change paul Okoye. He has gone to far. Pls let’s wake up. Thanks.
