Epic Slam! Wizkid Shoots Down Skales Recklessly

While the online media space was still reeling off the frenzy of subs from entertainment stars, Khloe Kardashian and Amber Rose, former EME soldiers, Wizkid and Skales treated us to an unsavoury dish of their long, silent beef which clearly had been marinading in the pot since their days at the EME camp.

It began… allegedly, with Skales tweeting to a fan that Wizkid doesn’t have his time and before we knew it, the Starboy crooner rose to a soft attack later escalating with reckless abandon.

… And Then Skales Apologized

You know the popular saying that goes “when two elephants fight, the ground suffers”, well that seemed to be the case with the Wizkid-Skales Twitter spat that shook the industry on Monday. A lot of fans were dismayed and terribly hurt by the turn out of their perhaps protracted (but silent) feud that led to an exchange of appalling and careless utterances.

Skales was the first to take the high road by tendering an apology (to no one exactly) following his social media spat with former label mate and Starboy Records CEO, Wizkid.

D’Banj, What’s Going On Here?

So kokomaster and entertainment business man, D’Banj was in South Africa on one of his concert legs as part of the activity line-up for his 10th year anniversary celebration and during his performance, this photo moment couldn’t have been missed.

No comment whatsoever!

Mavin Records act and soon-to-be daddy, Sidney Esiri aka Dr Sid, shared a photo of his secondary school testimonial showing some details we perhaps never knew of him. He attended Airforce Secondary School, Ikeja and during the time, was known to be inspiring, commendable and of a satisfactory conduct. He was also class prefect.

Way to go Sid! One’s past will always be a mirror into the future. But why was the date of birth altered tho’? #JustSaying

ONYE! Waje & Tiwa Savage Are Top Singing Sensations From Africa

Your favourite music divas, Tiwa Savage and Waje have made Channel O‘s Top Ten list for Female Singing Sensations from Africa.

Although the list includes singers like Kenyan beauty, Victoria Kimani and the sweet-vocaled Efya from Ghana, we’re still not in agreement with the list because we feel Nigeria has championed a revolutionary cause in music & entertainment for Africa as a whole. And as such, we’re deserving of more than just two slots. I mean, where’s Omawumi and Chidinma, really?

I have magic in my hands and I'm excited to be sharin' it with the world. Be jimancipated!
