Born Babalola Falemi in Lagos State, Nigeria, rapper Sauce KiD now known as Sinzu, completed his high school education in Nigeria after which he moved to the United States of America, where he cultivated the habit of rhyming.

In February 2005, he started an independent recording label Q Beats Entertainment with his friend Tunji “T Billions” Balogun Jr. In December 2005, Sauce KiD headed out to Nigeria with a video for then hit “Omoge wa jo” which featured legendary AfroPop singer Mike Okri. This video and song gained him recognition within the African music industry and his effort was crowned with a nomination for the 2006 Channel O awards which he didn’t win.

Not long after, he released Moneylong, “The mix tape for both worlds” and one of the songs on the mix tape titled “Yebariba Samboribobo” (a spin off Remy Ma-conceited, produced by Scott Storch) became an instant hit and turned into a national anthem in Nigeria.

His debut album entitled “African American” was released under Storm records in 2009 after which the mixtape “daripoff” was released online with over 20k downloads in just one week. The proud father of one, has worked with various artistes including Davido in the smash hit “Carolina”, Vector, Tuface, MI, Eva, Burna Boy, Ice Prince, Lynxx, etc.
