Ghanaian music group of Mugeez & Omar Sterling; R2bees , have given an explanation as to why they do not consider begging bloggers or paying them important as regards them posting their songs.

The duo revealed this while they were caught up in an interview on Joy FM’s Cosmopolitan Mix with the host, Doreen Andoh.

According to them, every good song can promote itself and it’s not a matter of paying bloggers and other media operators to get your songs promoted. They believe if a song is good, then it will definitely grow on people and become major hits without paying bloggers to post them.

“I would never send you a song to post for me. The reason is I trust the music so much and I believe it will do just right,” Mugeez said.

I don’t think we went through hardships because we started our record label. We don’t know people. We don’t get a lot of good press.”

“We don’t care about all these things. We believe in our music. It’s all about the fans. It’s always been all hands-on board if we are to give gratitude to anyone.”

They further went on to explain why their upcoming album launch had to be postponed.

“We’ve pushed our new album to next year because we just dropped the single, “Beautiful”. We worked on it for three years,” Omar said.
