Seyi Vibez
Seyi Vibez is one of Nigeria’s most consistent street-pop hitmakers, known for his emotional delivery, spiritual undertones, and raw storytelling. Blending Afrobeats with Fuji-inspired melodies and street-hop energy, he has built a loyal fanbase and dominated streaming charts with back-to-back projects.
Born Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi on July 12, 2000, in Ketu, Lagos State, Seyi Vibez grew up in Ikorodu, Lagos. His upbringing heavily influenced his reflective lyrics and street-rooted sound.
He debuted in 2019 with “Anybody” and gained traction with “Godsent” in 2020. His breakthrough came with Billion Dollar Baby (2022), powered by the smash hit “Chance (Na Ham),” which peaked at No. 7 on the TurnTable Top 100 and entered the UK Afrobeats Chart.
In 2023, he released the EP Memory Card, which recorded over 6 million streams in its first week. That same year, he delivered Vibe Till Thy Kingdom Come and Thy Kingdom Come, maintaining strong chart performance.
His 2024 album Loseyi Professor showcased his artistic growth, while Fuji Moto (2025) further cemented his position as one of Nigeria’s most streamed artists. In December 2025, he ranked among the top streamed artists on Spotify Nigeria.
In March 2023, Seyi Vibez announced the passing of his mother, calling it the darkest moment of his life. The loss deeply influenced his music and perspective.
