The first gist of the day is about Mavin Records singer, Dr. SID. The singer and his wife, Simi, are expecting their second child. The singer let the cat out of the bag via a video which he shared on his Instagram page. Dr. SID shared a video showing his daughter, Syndney, confirm that in the protruding stomach of his wife is a baby.
In another story, Adekunle Gold announced a change to the date of his Toronto concert. The urban high life singer broke the news on his social media platform. He wrote, “sorry Toronto, I have to move the date. details shortly.”
Alternative singer, Aramide has made her first public appearance since the unfortunate incident in which Ebiye Victor, the comedian, made a misogynist comment about her Headies Award success. The singer spoke to Planet TV but not about the incident, instead she spoke on the clash between farmers and herdsmen in Plateau, Jos. The Funmi Lowo singer who once lived in Jos, called on the government to beef up security in the troubled region.
DJ Cuppy also announced that she has become an Education Ambassador for Global Citizen. The beautiful disc jockey made this announcement on Instagram, via a post which read, “She posted a photo of her signing the deal with the brand and wrote: “Proud to announce I’m officially an Education Ambassador for @GlblCtzn ????
