The singer who in the past couple of days has been expressing his sadness over the death of the American rapper who was killed right in front of his store in Los Angeles about a fortnight ago. As a result of the intense remorse Burna Boy has been showing over the unfortunate murder of the anti-gang advocate, many would only expect that the “Ye” singer would be present at the memorial service of the late rapper.

But the singer has now come out to express his disappointment at the fact that he missed the service which happened at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles yesterday. He revealed that he’s been on the bus which couldn’t make it to LA on time.

He wrote; “I’m so bummed i couldn’t make it to LA on time to pay my respect. We still on the bus. But watching everything on the internet and seeing how everything turned out yesterday. I Know You live forever. R.I.P Nipsey.”

Lots of superstars from many walks of life were present at the memorial service to pay their respect and it is comprehensible to understand why Burna feels a sort of regret at missing it.

You would recall Burna said after the immediate murder of Nipsey that he was the only one he was hoping to feature on his next album which spells what great respect the afrobeat star has for Nip.
