Following the launch of his new project, ‘The Entertainer,’ D’banj the Entertainer surprised commuters by taking a ride on both a bus and a train, blending in with the crowd. His journey was part of the celebration marking the first anniversary of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Blue Line, showcasing the city’s evolving infrastructure and his dedication to connecting with fans in an innovative way.

As D’banj the Entertainer travelled from Leventis bus stop to Marina train station, and then to National Theatre station, he was met with enthusiastic applause from fellow travelers. Having had the honor to work with African giants like D’banj – my brother, the team at Temple, Idris, Larry Gaaga – my twin, and Yemisi – my sister, was the start of something big. Not just for Nigeria or West Africa – but for the whole continent. Go out and stream this album. Let’s show the world that Africa is ready to lead.”
