When British Hip Hop artiste, Tion Wayne announced his plans to relocate to Nigeria, he stirred up reactions on social media. His real name is Dennis Junior Odunwo and he made the announcement on his Twitter page on February 7th. Nevertheless, last year when Tion Wayne first arrived in Nigeria, he was warmly welcomed by Afrobeats singer, David ”˜Davido` Adeleke. It was certainly a five-star treatment from the DMW boss as he sent his Rolls Royce to pick him up from the international airport in Lagos.

Tion Wayne shared photos of himself at the airport and in transit after the luxurious ride, and expressed his gratitude to Davido and his family with a special shoutout on Instagram. He prayed for them to be blessed for their kind gesture.

It is certainly exciting that Tion Wayne is willing to take on the challenge of relocating to Nigeria despite the unfavorable conditions as many Nigerians do not have the privilege to move abroad. To some extent, it is a good example of embracing love and support from countrymen even in difficult times.

For now, it is difficult to tell if Tion Wayne will persist with his plans to move to Nigeria, but hopefully whatever decision he makes will be a beneficial one.
