Nigerian singers, May D and 9ice (AdigunAlapomeji) teamed up to keep our company with this new release – Somebody.
Confam Music front man, May D unveils a brand new track titled Somebody featuring Ancestor 9ice. The Afrobeat song produced by Vstix is a feel good music that comes in a mild tempo yet banging with MrMayD’s fast vibes.
Somebody is a record which sees a man walking up to a lady whose seated or standing alone. A Babe without a company. 9ice also comes through with his vocals giving the track a more traditional feel.The track is off May D’s new body of work May Day (High With You) The EP. The new body of work (EP) released on 2020`s May Day (May 1st) consists of 6 tracks all produced by Vstix (Alfred Victor Ayokanmi) except the 6th track (produced by Dante). With 3 special features; Wande Coal, 9ice, and Stanley Enow. All tracks on the project were mixed and mastered by Swapsonthemix.
May D is a popular Nigerian singer, songwriter, and dancer. He was signed to R&B duo P-Square`s record label Square Records before they parted ways in 2012.After studying mass communication at the University of Lagos. He rose to stardom with hit tracks like “Soundtrack,” “Use Me,” “Ile Ijo,” “Gat Me High,” and “One Night Stand”˜. On the 25th of September 2012, May D started an independent record label known as Confam Entertainment and since then, he has released a couple of projects under his label.
