Asake kick starts the new year 2023 with his first official single title, YOGA. This brand new jam is produced by Magicstick, it sees Ololade mi Asake in another style of music. ‘Yoga’ is a mid tempo record and y’all about to witness Art in its rawest form.
Nigerian Afro-pop singer Asake found breakout success in 2020 with “Lady,” an indelibly sunny track with a brisk beat and good-time vibes. Over the next two years, he built on his popularity with further hits like “Mr. Money” and 2022`s high-profile Olamide collaboration “Omo Ope.”
YOGA, After his 2022 debut single- Omo Ope, he released a mini project titled “Ololade” EP. Throughout his debut EP Ololade Asake, the newbie incorporates Yoruba gospel and fuji influences on bouncy beats to ruminate on his unfolding journey and show divine appreciation. No surprises there, for an act with a name steeped in oriki (Yoruba praise poetry).
After the success of the EP, he followed it up wit MMWTV album. Asake`s debut album- “Mr Money With The Vibe” consists of 12 tracks with two featuring; Russ and Burna Boy. It house his previously released hit singles; “Sungba” (Remix), “Peace Be Unto You“, and “Terminator”.
