Davido‘s official video for his most recent release Dodo produced by Kid Dominant was throwback themed to perhaps the early 80’s. This could be evidenced mostly in the costume set and their playful mashup of colours. It reminded me of Sean Tizzle‘s Komole video from 2013 where everything (set design, props, costume and styling) was also throwback themed.
Bad as I want to do a review on Davido’s video… or better yet, a comparison of both videos even, I’d like to play curve ball a little by allowing you guys decide which of the videos you thought brought out the best creative forms from the whole throwback concept and overall did it the most for you.
So let’s decide, is it Dodo which was directed by Adasa Cookey or the D’Tunes produced Komole, directed by Aje Filmworks?
