Nigerian and Ghanaian Veteran Artistes, Tony Tetuila and  Tic Tac have taken a bold and aggressive step in suing Nigerian Top Star, Wizkid over copyright infringement.

The “Fever” Hitmaker together with Nigerian DJ, DJ Tunez dropped a song sometimes ago dubbed “Gbese” and some of Tony Tetuila ” Fefe Ne Efe” verses were sung by Wizkid in DJ Tunez “Gbese”.

According to the Plaintiffs in an Interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, Wizkid did not acknowledge them for sampling their song, talk-less of paying for it. They also added that they will be seeking damages to the tune of over N30,000,000 equivalent to 84,000 in dollars. They are also seeking 35% of both digital sales and royalties DJ Tunez and Wizkid received from the song.
