WAJE

Aituaje Iruobe popularly known as WAJE an acronym for “Words aren`t just enough”, which also means laughter in Sabongida Ora is a Nigerian singer. The beautiful vocalist whose vocal range covers three octaves has been dubbed best voice in Africa.

Born September 1 in Akure before moving to Benin where she was raised by her parents, the native of Sabongida Ora in Edo state has a degree in social work at University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Waje, whose voice is behind P-Square`s “Omoge Mi” and “Do Me”, Banky W`s “Thief my Kele” as well as M.I`s “One Naira” also participated in the TV reality show, Advance Warning  where she emerged first runner up amidst other heavyweights like MI, Terry G, Kel, Pype Blaze and Durella who came first .

The mother of one`s songs as well as debut album which she released in 2013 titled W.A.J.E (Words Aren`t Just Enough) has gotten her various nominations and awards some of which include; best R&B singer 2011(City People Entertainment Awards), best female vocalist 2011 (Nigerian Entertainment Awards), best female vocalist 2011 (Hip Hop World Awards), best African act 2011 (DEAFA Afro-Europe Awards, best reggae/dance hall (Hip Hop World Awards 2013) amongst others.
