Award-winning rapper, Guru, is set to launch his long-awaited “Gold” album scheduled for November 26 at Bantama High Street in Kumasi. Label mates and artistes Lil Win, Flowking Stone, D-Cryme, Kooko, Cashtwo, KingDee, Baafour, DJ Slim, DJ Reuben, DJ Kaxtro, DJ Bice, DJ NappyBoi and many others have been billed to perform and the event will be one of the biggest in the region as disclosed by Guru’s executive producer Ray Moni.
In a statement, Ray Moni said; “Is not just going to be an album launch but a big party to preach for the up and coming December 7th elections, and also to say a big thank you to all the NKZ fans for their prayers and support over the years”.
He added “Because there so many hit songs it was very difficult selecting the songs for the album but at the end, after a couple of listening session with some major industry players we were able to come out with undoubtedly one of the greatest albums of our time.
Not to give anything away about the album but the tracks on the album feature a couple of international acts and if the Guru’s track record in relation to dropping hit song is anything to go by, then you won’t be disappointed when you grab a copy.”
