Olamide – Confam Ni ft. Wizkid
Jim Donnett’s Verdict
Errr, the instrumental samples an awful lot like DJ Xclusive’s ‘Jeje’. Asides that, it is a very decent collabo from both superstars. I’m especially delighted that they opted for something very chill and groovy as against the razz and outrageously loud. Wizkid sounded so good, better even… with the studio assists though but it’s all good still. Olamide’s delivery on Confam Ni was quite beguiling too. I honestly have no doubt that he’ll murder bars on a contemporary rap take (which I’m still rooting for), and then Young John made all the efforts even out almost perfectly.
I definitely enjoyed listening to this one and imma have it for keeps. You should too!

It’s Wizkid and Olamide again. Wizkid on the hook, Olamide on the verse equals to Confirm Ni. You know when you’ve got two great artiste together on a track you just expect the best and that’s the outcome of this track.
Confirm Ni is a track that would crawl its way into the heart of every good music lovers. The beat produced by Young John is one of a kind because it puts on the mood to dance. Wizkid the genius puts the magic touch in the song with his trademark delivery. Olamide was impressive too given us something fresh and new from the days Omo to shan. Loke loke is how I see this track going. Lovely effort from Olamide, Wizkid and Young John.

When I heard about the Olamide and Wizkid collaboration, the thoughts of the record Omo To Shan crawled in. But after listening to the song, I got something totally different and I love it.
Though some fans might feel disappointed due to the laid back groove but its quite cool having something different. Wizkid really sounds homely on the chorus and Olamide did pretty nice on his verses.
Young John is indeed a wicked producer. The record is nice though not perfect.

Kiss Daniel – Woju Remix ft. Tiwa Savage & Davido
Jim Donnett’s Verdict
This video further confirms my thoughts as expressed earlier on about the Woju remix. You can read that here. Safe to say we can now move on from all the hype and attention that was this remix ‘cos it was very much not necessary at all.

Hmmmm now I’m in the loop between the song and the video itself. If you ask me I would say the video covered up for the song (remix). The video was quite impressive although it lacks a bit of concept and creativity because the message of the song wasn’t in anyway portray but because of the ingenuity of the video director the beauty of the video was still felt.
The outdoor scene and the colourful lighting with the transcesion of day and night in the video made the video a must watch. The video director also did a good job with the Tiwa Savage scene knowing fully well that she is pregnant he shoots only the top of her torso. Maybe constant watching of the video would make me love song itself. Not a bad effort from the Woju crooner.

Being sincere, I never loved the audio to this remix but Adasa Cookey came in with some magic. The pictorials are captivating. The scenery and subjects were captured perfectly.
This video just salvaged the supposed bad effort in the remix.
