The world`s biggest Afrobeats fest is back to NEW YORK – ”THE RETURN to New York will take place at Brooklyn`s AmpiTheater On Saturday, August 19!
Fresh off the back of it`s epic sold out concert at London`s prestigious SSE Wembley Arena in May 2017 headlined by the likes of Davido, Tekno, Tiwa Savage and P-Square; and building on it`s two sold out shows in New York`s Barclays Centre and Houston`s Toyota Center in 2016, One Africa Music Fest, is back to where it all started from!
The OAMF #TheReturnNYC headliners include Sony Music`s Nigerian Pop star Tekno, Nigerian artists P-Square, Davido, 2Baba, Falz, Roc Nation`s Tiwa Savage, Soca/Dance hall musician Timaya, South African rap star Cassper Nyovest, Kenyan songstress Victoria Kimani, legendary South African DJ and producer DJ Maphorisa who is popularly known for producing the globally famous ‘One Dance’ with Drake and Wizkid, Ghana`s Dance hall-Hip life artist Shatta Wale, Tanzanian artist Alikiba, High life legend Flavour, BET international official DJ; DJ Spinall and many more.
Afrobeats will be meeting Soca this summer with New York`s very own Linky First performing at the One Africa Music Fest.
Now widely regarded as the seminal concert platform to showcase African music and culture to mainstream and diaspora audiences across the world, One Africa Music Fest is not resting on it`s laurels to unite and showcase Africa like never been seen or done before.
