Imo-State born up and coming artiste, Uchechukwu Peter Agocha but who goes by the moniker, DJ Rexzy has debuted into the Nigerian music scene with a single titled “A Trip to Ghana”.
The single which features Howhizzy Silva, according to Rexyy is a irony of sort because in the song, it is perceived that as a Nigerian, one need have a visa before he or she can go to go Ghana but the reality is the opposite as Nigerians needs no visa to go to Ghana and vice versa. The singer is fearful that such a thing should ever happen to these two countries. “A Trip to Ghana”, though very groovy song but it has a message”, said Rexzy.
The single is a feel good song, with a lot of energy and promises that good vibe for everyone who listens to it. On his plan for music career, the Hip hop-Reggae act said, “I will I put in my best into my craft and make sure I measure up as I am also aware of the great talents that abound in the Nigeria music industry”. Rexzy revealed he got exposed to music very early as a kid. “Growing up my dad was always listening to the likes of Kenny Rogers, Jim Reeves and Don Williams and sings the songs like he was the composer and I love these songs so much and its cool”.
