The issue of Naira Marley is getting really interesting and more complex at the same time.
The rounds surrounding social media now have it that some Nigerians and maybe more appropriately, Naira Marley fans are on their way to the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Ikoyi where the singer is being held to protest and demand for his Immediate release.
A video has stormed the interent showing these Nigerians in buses heading to the anti-graft agency’s office for a rescue mission.
There have been questions thrown all around social media about the loyalty of the singer’s fans who were supporting him after his supportive speech for internet fraud (yahoo yahoo) on Instagram some weeks back.
A section of the media have called Naira’s fans hypocrites and disloyal people after it appeared they wouldn’t make a conscious effort towards Naira’s release.
However, it seems the fans have seen the remarks of people concerning them on the internet and have now swung into swift action as they head to Ikoyi to secure Naira’s release.
If this strategy by the fans would come is yet unknown but we hope it doesn’t cause more people to get into trouble.
