Nigerian singer, Rudeboy has a message for artistes sharing cash on social media to assist those who are unable to stock up towards the market shut down.
The Lagos state government announced that some marketplaces would have to be shut down for some days to prevent further spread of the coronavirus. Some artistes took to social media to give money to people who lack funds to buy what they need to survive during the shutdown and so far its been going good. Rudeboy, however, seems to have a different view of how things are being d0ne on social media.
Taking to his Instagram page, the singer stated that the people who seriously need help during this pandemic period are not the ones on social media but the ones that are not on social media. According to him, these people have no data or don’t even know what data means. He wrote: Attention. The people who seriously need help now during this pandemic period are not on social media.
