Nigerians can argue about almost anything. From the completely ridiculous arguments about how Turkey is better than Chicken to talks of how the coronavirus pandemic is affecting the world, they have proved to be one of the most intellectual people on social media.

One of the recent arguments on the popular social media platform which houses a lot of savage people was the comparison of two artistes- Brymo and Wizkid. You may be wondering what could have brought such a topic? It was the release of Brymo’s 7th studio album Yellow. Because of its deep lyrical content and amazing storytelling and probably the best body of work from the Carpenter’s son, Nigerians started comparing his lyrical prowess to that of Wizkid.

Brymo’s supporters believe that the singer is actually a better artiste than Wizkid in all sense and that he is only not just recognized because he doesn’t dish out the kind of music people love to consume- Brymo is the real and rare gem. They also argued that Wizkid is terrible most especially when it comes to writing music. Of course, the Wizkid FC didn’t agree with that and also fired back maintaining that the Joro singer is the greatest African artiste of all time.

This conversation is still shattering many tables and this has brought us to ask, Who Is A Better Artiste Lyrically… Brymo Or Wizkid?
