After receiving congratulatory messages and posts from fans, Davido took a moment to react as some of his colleagues refused to celebrate him on his 10th anniversary.
Recall we reported that Davido celebrated his 10th year in the music industry and Jack Dorsey created another emoji for #davidoat10 to celebrate his milestone. Fans, celebrities, ministers all flooded the internet with congratulatory messages to celebrate the most influential African artist for his consistency and achievements over the years.
Following the celebration, a Twitter user identified as Wande observed that some of the big artists in the industry failed to celebrate and praise Davido on his 10th anniversary. Reacting to this, Wande wrote;
Most of the praises Davido got for his 10 years anniversary came from his fans… His colleagues out there acting all bling and shii.
Though Wande didn’t mention the names of these artists, we suspect he might be referring to Wizkid and Burnaboy who snubbed all Davido’s 10th-year celebratory posts.
Reacting to Wande’s Post, Davido noted taht he was not surprised by his colleagues’ actions. According to him, the silent treatment and beef have been existing for years. In his own words, he wrote:
