Veteran Nigerian singer, Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan took to social media to celebrate Eid Mubarak with his family amid throat cancer rumors.
We earlier reported that the 44-year-old singer was diagnosed with throat cancer and had commenced chemotherapy in the United States. After the news hit the internet, fans and celebrities took to social media to pray and wish Sound Sultan a safe recovery.
Though Sound Sultan or his management are yet to debunk the news, his elder brother, Baba Dee informed the public that Sound Sultan is indeed sick, but he’s not battling throat cancer.
Taking to his Instagram account, Sound Sultan shared a lovely photo of himself and his family as they celebrated Eid Mubarak together. He wished his fellow Muslim brothers a happy celebration while making jokes about a missing ram. He appreciated fans for their support and love and promised to tell his story when the time is right.
