Prince of Afrobeats, Rema has once again disregarded Nigerians’ love and support towards his music career.
Rema who is currently on a music tour with his team in U.S.A, took to Twitter and Instagram to shower accolades on the cities he had performed so far (Jersey, DC, Atlanta). In his tweet, he noted that the overwhelming love he has received from these foreign cities is something he has never experienced.
According to Rema, he is in a foreign land far from his homeland, Nigeria, but the love he has received from these foreigners has changed his perception of love and has opened his eyes to the cheap love he’s been receiving from Nigerians.
Faraway from home, but the love I receive out here is more than I`ve ever known.

This is not the first time Rema has downplayed the efforts and love of Nigerians in regards to his music. Recall when he called out his colleagues and fans for not supporting younger artists after the result of the 2021 Grammy awards was announced. You would also recall how Rema slammed Nigerians for not appreciating his Indian sound, though his songs have magically been topping music charts.
