Wizkid has taken the piss out of Ghanaians after he refused to show up at a concert and made them wait for about 12 hours. The singer, who was supposed to perform last night had about 5,000 people waiting for him, but he failed to show up. Concertgoers refused to exit the venue, as they had high hopes that the Grammy-award-wining singer and performer would show up.
Their hopes got shattered after they waited for 12 hours to no avail. They had no choice but to angrily leave the venue. Some have opined that Wizkid should be banned, while the organizers of the show should be sanctioned.
One of the concert-goers wrote:
People leaving at 04:03am after 12 hours waiting for @mizkidayo. I feel so bad. I feel sad its happening in another country. Happening in Ghana. A country you reside in. This is the peak of ones Hubris. About 5000 people stood waiting for an artist and he decided not to show up. The authorities should intervene. He should be banned and the organizers should be sanctioned. Its rather dist steful.
