Nigerian singer and record label owner Naira Marley has removed Mohbad, one of his signed artists, from his Instagram profile picture and bio. This comes just after Mohbad and Sam Larry, the manager of Naira Marley’s record label, Marlian Music, were released on bail after being detained for allegations of bullying and murder.

Mohbad had accused Naira Marley and Sam Larry of bullying and assaulting him when he was alive,which they denied. However, a video of Mohbad with bruises on his face and body later surfaced online, lending credence to his accusations.
Mohbad was declared dead on September 12, 2023, in his car on the way to hospital in Lagos. The cause of his death is still under investigation.
