No, contrary to Internet rumors, Taylor Swift did not receive an engagement ring from Travis Kelce for her birthday.
A week after Swift was seen showing off the ring to her friends Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh Sperry, the mystery of her sparkling new jewelry was solved on Thursday (Dec. 21). Turns out, Sperry was admiring her own gift on her pal!
“Love this ring I had made for my friend, she’s bejeweled,”
Sperry wrote on her Instagram Stories, alongside a photo of the teardrop-shaped, blue gem-encrusted ring in a red box. She also poked fun at “all media outlets” and Instagram gossip blogger DeuxMoi, who believed Swift was engaged.

Teller and Sperry both attended Swift’s 34th birthday party in New York City. “Can’t believe this year… actually… happened? Thank you for all your beautiful birthday wishes yesterday,” the “Bejeweled” singer captioned a series of Instagram photos from the bash, smiling alongside Blake Lively, Zoë Kravitz, HAIM, Gigi Hadid, Antoni Porowski, Sabrina Carpenter, Jack Antonoff and more.
