Controversial artist, Portable, has expressed gratitude to renowned rapper Olamide for his contributions to his achievement in the industry.

Portable in a recent interview on the Afrobeat podcast, said that unusual style has earned him recognition, emphasized Olamideβs essential role in propelling him from the streets to prominence.
The βZazuu Zehβ singer sent a heartfelt statement, stressing Olamideβs everlasting support and belief in his skills, which catapulted him to unprecedented heights in the music business.
Portable reminisced about the days when he would perform for only N200 at events.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude for Olamideβs genuine gesture of signing and sponsoring him without any conditions.
He praised the YBNL boss for giving him opportunities while many questioned his abilities.
In his words;
βIf not for Olamide, I wouldβve still been on the streets. I went to London and collaborated with the best rapper in the UK and itβs all thanks to Olamide. When nobody believed in me, you told me that I was gonna make it and Iβve made it bigger than I ever thought.
Olamide is a boss, he sponsored me without signing me and never asked for anything in return and thatβs why I respect him so much. Some people use me to do blΓ€ck business but Olamide is the only guy in this industry who showed me love.
Olamide paved the way for me, heβs my boss and God used him to bless me. Iβm from streets and Iβve been through a lot but I thank God for sending Olamide to me. I used to perform for N200 before Olamide helped me and he didnβt rip me like most people do in this industry.
Paving the way for someone doesnβt only mean inspiring them, but it involves making things easier for those who come after you and thatβs exactly what Olamide has done for a lot of artistes.β
