Nigerian-born artist Alexzander Chijioke Aniobi also known as “ALEXZY NWAMBADA”. Born September 12 in the Southeastern part of the country in a family of 6. As the first son of the family, he embraced his responsibilities at the early stages of his life to lead and direct. This was quite evident in his young days when he led music and dance classes as a boy drawing him the name ALEXZY NWAMBADA.

ALEXZY Nwambada grew up as an outspoken and happy kid who was raised in a religiously inclined household. Through the influences of his musically inclined parents as well as the unique sounds of the Nigerian church, ALEXZY Nwambada absorbed the cocktail of sonics and unwittingly tapped into the musicality surrounding him.

ALEXZY Nwambada was one out of 4 of “Thug Angels”. A boy band who not only dreamt about making good music but also delved into the world of music production. “2006 was the year I knew I was going to make music, although I didn’t know if it would be professionally”, said ALEXZY Nwambada. Before 18, ALEXZY Nwambada started working on his music, albeit privately, until he gathered the courage to actively put himself out there giving rise to this moment. He is set to release his first official singles KYKO(Kpaputa ya ka Osie) + Nzogbu by May 2024 which will be available on all digital platforms. He featured Hakeem in KYKO who dropped a resounding chorus for the song.

“ALEXZY Nwambada has a unique approach to music. His unpredictability, choice of rhythm and choice of words are inimitable”, said ICONic, his former boy band member and a musical artiste. He further went on to say that the music world at large found yet another missing piece. The power of blending the Igbo Language in his raps to churn out sweet vibes giving rise to great music cannot be overemphasized.

ALEXZY Nwambada said,” I’ve been down and out for a very long time hiding under the carpet. I think it’s time to reintroduce myself”. He is stoic, self-confident and self-motivated. This has a lot to say about his personality. Born and raised in the hood “Fegge”, instils street language and slang in his rap style.
