American artistes Post Malone and Doja Cat, have been announced as the headline performers at the 2024 Global Citizen Festival. Other artistes on the performance roaster include Jelly Rolly and Rauw Alejandro. The festival will hold at Central Park’s Great Lawn on September 28, 2024. Other performers will unveiled soon. Global Citizen Ambassador Hugh Jackman will host the event. The founder of the Jane Goodall Institute & UN Messenger of Peace, Jane Goodall, and Global Citizen Festival curator, Chris Martin of Coldplay will also attend the festival.
The music festival aims to tackle major issues perpetuating extreme poverty around the world. Last year, Lenny Kravitz, Billie Eilish, H.E.R., Jon Batiste, Ben Harper, FINNEAS, and Mosimann performed at the festival.
