Controversial Charly Boy, a Nigerian musician, has expressed skepticism about the recent assassination attempt on former US President Trump. This statement followed a tragic incident at a Pennsylvania rally, where gunshots resulted in the deaths of two people and Trump being rushed off stage. The suspect has recently been identified by the FBI as Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20 years old.
Charly Boy, known for his outspoken views, used the microblogging platform Twitter to offer his thoughts on the highly publicised event. He stated that the incident could have been planned by Donald Trump’s MAGA movement and called for a thorough investigation.
In his words;

“Was dis an intentional cut? Abegi Americans make una Investigate dis mater wella. The con man strike again?
“Did they find a Mugu? They encouraged and assisted him to shoot the target person and then they made sure that guy gets killed so he can’t talk about it?
