Adekunle Gold Motivates Fans with Story of His First Trip Abroad

Renowned singer Adekunle Gold has moved fans with an inspiring account of his early travels abroad. In a recently shared video, he recounted how his first international trip in 2015 was made possible by his song “Shade,” along with “Orente,” which were both popular at the time.

Since that initial journey, Gold has visited over 35 countries, driven by his deep passion for music. He took the opportunity to encourage his fans, urging them to persist in pursuing their own passions, which he believes will lead to success.

He shared: “The first time I ever traveled out of Nigeria was in 2015. Guess what took me out? One song, ‘Shade.’ I had ‘Shade’ and ‘Orente’ then. And since then, I think I’ve been to 35 countries.

“I say this to say, your passion, the one thing that you love to do will make way for you. I always wanted to travel as a child but where I see the money.

“But look, I’m just praying for you guys that you find something, you know, that will take you places and if you have already found it, just keep at it. You will go places.”
