Singer Ayra Starr, the globally celebrated Afrobeats artist, is set to make her acting debut in Nollywood with the Prime Video original film, βChristmas In Lagos.β
At just 22, the Grammy-nominated singer will join a stellar cast, including Teniola A. Aladese, Shalom C. Obiago, Rayxia Ojo, Shaffy Bello, and Adekunle Gold.Β The romantic comedy, directed by Jadesola Osiberu, explores the story of Fiyin (Aladese), who, after a heartbreak, starts to believe that her best friend Elo (Obiago) might be her true soulmate. Filmed in Lagos, the movie promises to be a festive treat for audiences.
