**Wouter Kellerman Wins Third Grammy for Triveni, Showcasing Global Musical Fusion**

Johannesburg-born flautist, composer, and producer Wouter Kellerman has added another prestigious accolade to his name, securing his third Grammy Award. He won Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album for Triveni, a collaborative project with Japanese cellist Eru Matsumoto and Indian vocalist Chandrika Tandon.

In his heartfelt acceptance speech, Kellerman highlighted the unifying power of music, stating, “This is a testament to the fact that music has the power to unite and heal. Music connects, and I am very grateful to share this moment with you.” He also expressed gratitude to his collaborators and longtime business partner Tholsi Pillay for their contributions to the project.

The 67th Grammy Awards, hosted by South African comedian Trevor Noah and broadcast on CBS, celebrated outstanding achievements in the global music industry. Also in attendance was South Africa’s deputy minister of arts and culture, Bertha Peace Mabe, who lauded the country’s expanding influence in international music. She noted that 12 South African musicians have collectively won 32 Grammy Awards, reinforcing the nation’s rich musical legacy.

“Wouter Kellerman has now won three Grammys, joining the ranks of legends like Miriam Makeba, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Black Coffee, and Tyla,” Mabe stated. “Our music scene continues to gain international recognition, blending rich traditional sounds with modern genres.”
