The project kicks off with the thought-provoking lead single, After 24 Years, which was written and recorded in November 2023.

In this latest single, Femi Kuti takes a bold stance against corruption, incompetence, and self-serving leadership in Nigeria’s political system. The track reflects on 24 years of democratic governance (1999–2023), questioning whether Nigeria’s leadership has truly progressed beyond the military rule it replaced.
Speaking on the song, Femi stated:
“Since my track ‘Sorry Sorry’ was released in 1998 on the album ‘Shoki Shoki,’ I warned that politicians and soldiers were one and the same. True to those words, our leaders have governed just as badly as the military dictatorship.”
