South African rapper and multi-talented creative Nomuzi Mabena, popularly known as Moozlie, is back on the music scene after a lengthy hiatus – and she’s making a powerful statement with her brand-new single titled Go Getter released on May 2nd.
During her break from releasing music, Moozlie didn’t step out of the spotlight entirely. Instead, she thrived in multiple roles – as a creative director, fashion icon, event host, and an influential voice in both the business and entertainment industries. Now, she’s channelling all that experience, growth, and confidence into her music once again.
Taking to social media, Moozlie unveiled striking visuals shot by her partner, Jr Ecko, to mark her return and share the excitement of entering this new chapter. Speaking on the process, she opened up about the challenges and courage it takes to release music independently, expressing deep gratitude for how everything is aligning in her journey.
“Putting out new music is so exciting but doing it independently is definitely a bit daunting,” Moozlie shared. “It’s trusting that all things are working for your good on a whole new level… But seeing how everything is coming together has me more pumped up than ever, and I really believe the best is yet to come!”
She also gave a heartfelt shoutout to the DJs, platforms, and fans who’ve supported her music career for over a decade, many of whom attended her exclusive media listening session held prior to the release.
