Shakira and Burna Boy continue their historic run with the official 2026 FIFA World Cup anthem, Dai Dai, as the global smash extends its dominance across the world’s biggest music charts.
For a third consecutive week, the record remains the No. 1 song in the world on the United World Chart, earning 294,000 pointsβan increase of 33,000 points, the largest weekly gain among all songs over the past seven days.
The anthem also continues its reign atop the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart for a third straight week while climbing two spots to No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200, becoming the first official FIFA World Cup song in history to top both Billboard global rankings.
According to Luminate, Dai Dai accumulated 41.5 million global streams and 6,000 worldwide sales during the tracking week, securing Burna Boy‘s first-ever Billboard Global 200 No. 1 and Shakira’s second, following TQG with Karol G.
On the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., the song generated 37.1 million streams and 4,000 sales outside the United States, giving Burna Boy his first chart-topper and making him only the second Nigerian artist to reach No. 1 on the ranking.
The momentum isn’t slowing down in the United States either. Dai Dai surges 12 places to a new peak of No. 55 on the Billboard Hot 100 in its fourth week on the chart. It has also reached:
- No. 1 on the World Digital Song Sales chart

Released on May 15, 2026, as the official anthem of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Dai Dai celebrates football’s global spirit, referencing legends such as PelΓ©, Diego Maradona, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Mohamed Salah. The song also marks Shakira‘s fourth official FIFA World Cup anthem and Burna Boy‘s first.
Beyond Billboard, Dai Dai continues to dominate streaming platforms, remaining No. 1 on the Global Spotify chart, topping the Worldwide iTunes Songs chart, and becoming the most-watched music video released in 2026, surpassing 430 million YouTube views alongside more than 5.2 million likes.
The anthem’s worldwide impact is equally evident on national charts, where it has reached No. 1 in multiple countries, including Germany, France, Argentina, Belgium, Colombia, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Austria, Chile, Greece, the UAE, and several others.
