SEYI SHAY – CRAZY FT. WIZKID
Jim Donnett’s Verdict
The bigger credit on Ms Shay’s new release should go to Legendury Beatz for making her track this desirable. I can’t fault her vocals as well, mama sure can saaaiiinng and she know she gat it real good. Starboy Wizzy becomes the yang to Ms Shay’s yin and together, they’ve got a musical chemistry going on… quite undeniably too.
I’m willing to shelve my higher expectations from the fatal reception Murda got because her diversity in genre choices yet shows the variety of flavour she can bring when she tries her hands on something new. Still, this is good stuff!

Jimmy King’s Verdict
Seyi Shay seems to be doing a lot of collaborations lately after the successful collaboration with Patoranking. It seems to be working out for her. This brand new song featuring Wizkid is different from her last song which she brought a feel of RnB and dance hall.
This song is a groovy jam which I`m sure would soon be a club banger. The hook to the song is one that would register in your memory and get your nodding your head. Wizkid complimented the song very well because this is more like his thing. Seyi Shay is a vocal power house, she didn`t disappoint with her delivery.
The beat is good, it just lacks a bit of spice or should I say that special touch. The message of the song is quite clear. It`s all about love, the usual stuff we are all used to.

With the drive of this diva, she can`t be relegated in the industry. I count her among the A-list songstresses in the game. The song is indeed crazy, just like the title. The Legendury produced beat is frabjous. The collaboration with Wizkid doesn`t seem bad as I found no reason to fault his delivery. Seyi Shay doesn`t disappoint on this track even though I expected more after listening to a song like murda which was on repeat for some weeks on my playlist.

SOLIDSTAR – MY BODY FT. TIMAYA
Jim Donnett’s Verdict
YES! Solidstar gets it right again. Although that seloquesence with Tiwa was just… well, this is about something else so lemme not deviate.
I love this song oh. Like really. You know how those really good ol’ stuff keep coming back to recycle itself? Solidstar and Timaya’s My Body makes the list. I can do anything for old skool (just name it) and this subtle disco-dance hall jam is pushing the correct buttons and working my right nerves. The track is playful and immediately excites your body to it’s suave groove tune. Timaya sha showed himself as well-honed in the dance hall music genre. Solidstar’s vocal harmonies were on-point. Cool cool stuff!

Jimmy King’s Verdict
One artiste that has maintained consistency is Solidstar and he has kept on churning good music. This song with Timaya ”˜Body` is one song that would definitely go very far. The song comprises of very good beat, good lyrics and good rhythm.
Body is a dance hall song. Not much to talk about except that it`s a good song and with very little flaws. Solidstar chose the right person for this song because Timaya brought his own unique approach to the song. This is his niche so it wasn`t that difficult for him.

This two make a wonderful pair on a track. The delivery of Solidstar is wow. The guy is good. Timaya follows suit. Not a bad song really. But I do have one problem.
Is this song a rip-off of Timaya`s SANKO?
Be it a rip-off or not, I must admit that it is quite a nice song. I`m enjoying it but once in a while I have to shake off Sanko out of my head.
