Grammy-Award-winning Afrobeat star, Oluwadamini Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy has become a 3 times winner of the BET Award, as he once again becomes the winner of the BET 2021 “Best International Act Category”.
For 3 consecutive years, Burna Boy has held down the category ahead of his counterparts in the music industry.
This year, he was nominated alongside his fellow artist, Wizkid and Nigerian`s have wondered who would emerge the winner, which is now quite obvious.
You will recall that just a couple of months ago, Burna Boy brought home a Grammy Award, after his Music album, “Twice As Tall” won the “Best Global Music Album” category, constantly proving to us that he is truly the Odogwu of the music industry. We say big congratulations to him.
The BET Award is one of the most prestigious in history, and this year`s ceremony is a special event with the theme Year of the Black Woman, intended to highlight the amazing accomplishments of Black women in showbiz, sports, and beyond.
The show, which was hosted by actress, Taraji P. Henson was graced by The Who-is-who of the entertainment industry, both home and abroad.
