Nigerian Afrobeat star Seyi Vibez surprised fans on July 12th, 2024, with the early release of his highly anticipated new project, “Loseyi Professor.” Originally scheduled for a July 18th release, the surprise drop offered fans a welcome dose of new music sooner than expected.
This marks Seyi Vibez’s sixth project in just over two years, solidifying his reputation as a prolific hitmaker. Following the success of his 2023 EP “NAHAMciaga” which featured the chart-topping singles “Different Patterns” and “Cana,” “Loseyi Professor” promises another exciting chapter in his musical journey.
Intrigue surrounds the 7-track EP, particularly due to its unique structure. Six of the seven tracks are named after different international cities: Lagos, Doha, Casablanca, Santorini, Abu Dhabi, and Manchester. This suggests a potential “city-themed journey” across the record, with each song potentially reflecting the vibes and experiences associated with each location.
