He drops his first single titled “NYEM EFE” produced by Gbedu Beat. This gives us a taste of his lyrical prowess and a proof that he is here to take over the game.
Prosper Uzochukwu Okezie also known as Pro Vibez is a medical doctor and rapper who hails from Isuikwuato Local Government Area in Southeastern Nigeria. He first gained local recognition when he won an Etisalat rap battle in his Alma mater, Abia State University where he graduated with an MBBS certificate as a medical practitioner in 2019 at the age of 26.
In 2019 while in his final year in medical school, his freestyle video for Sweet Boy Association went viral after it was reposted by Falz the bahd guy on his Instagram account. His sudden fame as a health care specialist who could also trade bars earned him the sobriquet, the rap doctor.
This landmark achievement was followed by a series of dope freestyle viral videos which brought him under the radar of Oojee Records, a record label to which the Isi Na Wall and Zamo crooners Slim Brown and Harry B are signed to.
Pro Vibez is a skilled and proficient rapper, singer-songwriter, recording and performing artiste. He raps fluently in English, Igbo and pidgin english. He is widely know for his fast-paced rapping flow and dope lyricism. He is very versatile and makes music that cuts across diverse genres like afrobeat, trap and drill. He aims to resurrect the dying genre of hip-hop in Nigeria and win a Grammy through his music whilst citing artistes like Eminem, MI, Phyno, LadiPoe, Khaligraph Jones and Nasty C as his influences.
