A brand new week calls for a brand new playlist, as always, I have got you all covered.
The streets have been banging with lots of amazing tunes, and I’m sure some of you lot have been so busy to focus on these banging tunes.
Not to worry, that’s why I decided to curate a list consisting of the most-banging jams right now from the likes of Burna Boy, Davido, Kizz Daniel, M.I, Waje….find out more as we dive in.
1. Last Last – Burna Boy
Oluwadamini Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy makes a comeback into the music scene with his freshly premiered jam dubbed, Last Last, meaning (Eventually). The Grammy-award-winning music power house made the release on the 13th of May, 2022.
Last Last is a record off Burna Boy’s forthcoming studio project slated to be released on his birthday in July. The song has the right amount of vibe and cruise, banging beat, and catchy lyrics.
It will be recalled that OluwaBurna close the Billboard Award with an incredible performance of Last Last, causing the audience to go wild. The music video was directed by Chopstix.
2. Palazzo – Asake, DJ Spinall
YBNL signee, Asake teams up with one of Nigeria’s most talented Disc Jockey, DJ Spinall to bring to our ears the song, Palazzo.
Palazzo is one of the many songs that were released on the 13th of May, 2022 – a memorable day in the music industry.
Considering Asake’s as a street jam curator, Palazzo passes as another hit, raking accolades in both streets and clubhouses. The song has just the right amount of vibe and should definitely be on your playlist.
3. Stand Strong – Davido ft The Samples
Keep your head up high
Even though your body full of bite marks from all dem canines.
Some words of wisdom from the stables of Nigeria’s Afropop star, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido as he dishes us his 2022 debut single, Stand Strong ft The Samples – An American rock band.
This comes after a long hiatus with no releases. Although the hit-maker has been rendering feature services to his colleagues and friends in the industry.
Finally, his fans all over the world are happy to receive something of such substance from him.
The critically acclaimed song, Stand Strong is said to be the opening song of Davido’s forthcoming album, one that promises to portray sides of the singer that has never been shown.

4. Woman – Omah Lay
Omah Lay is back with a brand new single titled, Woman. I must say this song is one for the books. It’s such a feel-good song, the perfect song for the typical Lagos traffic, lol.
The 2021 headies Next rated winner has over time proven to focus his music on women, but he does it with versatility.
Although some naysayers have tagged his lyrics to lack substance, he continues to turn deaf ears and does his thing like the star that he is. P. Priime takes production credit for Woman.
Woman is definitely a chart-topper.

5. Buga – Tekno, Kizz Daniel
Fly Boy Inc huncho, Kizz Daniel employs the services of multi-talent, Tekno to bless us with the song of the hour, Buga. This comes as a follow-up to his song, “Barnabas,” which currently serves as his most-streamed song to date.
Buga is the current buzzing sound on all social media and streaming platforms and not just that. Kizz Daniel made sure to come through with a signature dance move.

6. Overdose – Mavin
Whatttt!!!
I bet you never saw this coming, another Mavin All Stars collaboration? Don Jazzy has done it again, and this collaborative effort birthed the brand new hit, Overdose.
I must warn you though, that this jam is very addictive with an over-the-roof repeat value. Don Jazzy definitely outdid himself this time.
Overdose is a track with features from Don Jazzy, Ayra Starr, Crayon, Magixx, Ladipoe, and Boy Spyce.

7. Jolene – Victony ft Ktizo
Still, on the Outlaw EP, Victony dishes us some more amazing tunes, and here we have Jolene with a vocal assist from Ktizo.
Jolene is the 5th track on the extended play that houses 7 impressive tunes and consists of elements of Afrobeat. It also features vocals from Ktizo and Tempoe.
Jolene has a wide acceptance from Victony’s fans who are indeed grateful he is fully back on his feet.

8. Are You There – Rema
Are You There is another impressive track from Mavin Records Afrobeat and Trap star, Rema. Rema is arguably one of Nigeria’s favorite musicians at the moment, and this gives him an edge over his counterparts in the industry.
Following the huge success recorded by his debut project, Rave & Roses, Rema can now be certified as one of Nigeria’s major hitmakers. And he is only just getting started.

9. Daddy – M.I ft Chillz

M.I Abaga comes through with a brand new track, titled Daddy featuring Chillz. Daddy is a certified vibe song by M.I and Chillz with banging bars, that will definitely rock the clubs.
Chillz came through with the smooth flow, with M.I Abaga chipping in to add bars as always. This is a must-have on your playlist this week.

10. Vibes – Waje ft Falz
Nigerian songstress, Waje makes a come back into the music scene with her collaboration with multi-talent, Falz on the track, Vibes. Vibes, as the name implies is a bop track directed to raise your vibration and mood. You all already know that with Falz on this track, your vibe is certified to be amplified.
Falz’s verse is quite addictive as expected, with each singer getting a chance to display their awesomeness without one overshadowing the other.
this is a song that should not be missing from your playlist this week.

11. Naked Wire – Simi
Simi with the sensational voice is here again and we can’t get enough of her. Not now; not ever.
Nigerian multi-talent and songstress, Simisola Kososko premiers a brand new track, Naked Wire. Her new song, Naked Wire serves as a follow-up to her previous release, Sare.
On this addictive track, Simi tells us how her man lights up the fire in her and gets her high (Gbemi Trabaye).
