With 4 music releases and tons of both local and international collaborative efforts, the Grammy award winner constantly surpasses our imagination. Of course, for someone who proclaims himself as the African Giant, he sure needs to live up to the name.
In retrospect, we have put together a list of the best from the Afrobeats crooner for the year 2021.

1. B. D’OR (Ballon D’or) ft. Wizkid
A Burna and Wiz collaboration is always a banger, and that’s exactly what went down on Ballon D’or. Although suffered tons of criticism when it first got released, the Grammy-Award-winning Afrobeat artist, Oluwa Damini Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy, was able to win over the hearts of many in the end.
Having 2 GOATs on one song is not something that happens regularly in the music industry and we are sure grateful to Burna for pulling this off. B. D’OR is Burna’s last official single for the year 2021.
2. Question ft. Don Jazzy
Burna Boy employed the service of ace Nigerian producer, Don Jazzy on this rather thoughtful track, Question. The music video of the song, which was shot locally, and released back in August of 2021, has over 10 million views on Youtube which is no surprise.
Question is a song with good vibes and energy. Burna Boy shares on this track that he has got no time for haters and wishes them whatever they wish him in multiple folds, as God won’t stop blessing him.
3. Want It All ft. Pollo G
Want It All was Burna’s 1st international collaboration in 2021. The self-acclaimed African Giant employed the service of talented American rapper, Polo G, who, as a matter of fact, brought his A-game to the project.
The song stayed among Top 5 on major charts, both locally and internationally for the longest. Its relatable lyrics are one of the qualities that got Burna’s fans glued to it, and it soon became an anthem. It cannot be overlooked as one of Burna’s Best of 2021.
4. Kilometer
Kilometer was Oluwadamini Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy’s opening song of the year 2021. Following his Grammy Win via his 5th studio album, Twice As Tall, Burna made a come-back to the music scene with the song, Kilometer.
At 1st, its acceptance was poor as a lot of people wondered what kind of message Burna was trying to pass, considering his newly acquired status – A Grammy Award Winner. As time went by, the song began to grow on his fans, both locally and internationally, and soon received massive airplay.
5. Do Yourself – Angelique Kidjo
Beninese-American Grammy-award-winning music powerhouse, Angelique Kidjo employed the service of Burna Boy on her inspiring song dubbed, Do It Yourself.
Do It Yourself produced by Rexxie is recorded as one of Burna’s best 2021 features. The song comes as a follow up to Angelique’s Africa One Of A Kind, both songs are off her studio album, Mother Nature. Burna Boy delivered impressively, dishing out his unmatched vocals. You will recall that Back in 2020, Burna Boy lost his first Grammy nomination to Angelique Kidjo, but he did not let that deter him.
6. Rollin by Mist feat. Burna Boy
UK-based singer, Mist makes a return to the music scene with a sensational single titled Rollin. Mist teams up with Nigeria’s Grammy Award-winning singer, Burna Boy for that perfect blend.
To further melt the hearts of fans, the song was accompanied by an amazing music video.
7. Loved By You – Justin Bieber feat. Burna Boy
Canadian music powerhouse, Justin Bieber, delivered an impressive tune titled, Loved By You, a song off his studio album, Justice. The multiple-award-winning singer teamed u with Burna Boy to thrill his fans, and we sure got thrilled. I mean, who would not be thrilled over a Burna and Justin collaboration.

8. Ginger – Wizkid feat. Burna Boy
Two kings coming together on a track. This is not something we see every day. Big Wiz features his industry brother, Burna Boy on “Ginger”, Off his 4th studio album, Made In Lagos. Without a doubt, Wizkid and Burna Boy murdered this song, as it was recorded as one of the biggest in its year of release.

9. Yaba Buluku – DJ Tarico, Preck and Nelson Tivane feat. Burna Boy
Yaba Buluku (Remix) features the Grammy-Award-winning, Burna Boy. This mind-blowing collaboration cemented its place as the soundtrack of the year 2021.
Yaba Buluku officially became the African slogan shortly after the Remix was released. Indeed, the song is another Amapiano hit, one that should be played on all speakers.
10. Rotate – Becky G feat. Burna Boy
American singer and songwriter, Becky G collaborates with Nigeria`s big star, Burna Boy for her global hit song titled “Rotate“. The song was used for Pepsi Football Campaign, it`s also UEFA Champions League official soundtrack.
Becky G says, “Rotate to me is a celebration. I think it`s evident that futbol holds a special place in my heart and having Burna Boy join me on this made sense because ultimately I wanted to embody the perfect pre-game song that gets the blood flowing, makes you want to dance and enjoy the sport.”
11. Second Sermon Remix – Black Sherif feat. Burna Boy
Ghanaian artist, Black Sherif premiers his most-anticipated song “Second Sermon (Remix)” which features Nigeria`s finest, Burna Boy on the 9th of December, 2021.
Black Sherif is a Ghanaian singer who is determined to turn the entertainment industry up a notch. The track was produced by Ghanaian Stallion and Samsney.
12. I Feel It – Jon Bellion feat. Burna Boy
Off the studio album, I Feel It, Jon Bellion employs the services of Grammy-award-winning artist, Burna Boy. The news of their collaboration sent fans into a state of hysteria when it was 1st announced on social media.
For those wondering, Jon Bellion is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer who is best known for his song All Time Low, and many other powerful deliveries. The collaborative effort gained massive attention and fast became an anthem.
13. Siberia – Headie One feat. Burna Boy
British rapper, singer, and songwriter, Irving Ampofo Adjei, professionally known as Headie One premiers his jam titled Siberia featuring African giant, Burna Boy in February 2021.

Australian singer and songwriter, Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, widely known as SIA teamed up with Burna Boy on her hit song titled, Hey Boy. The song was released back in 2021 and served as SIA`s opening song of the year.
African Giant spiced up the pop record with his impressive verse and genre, a touch of Aftobeat and reggae.
SIA is a Grammy Award-winning artist who has been in the industry for over 15 years and has won multiple awards, including 8 Grammy Awards. She is famous for hiding her face under fringe wigs.
