Davido is definitely on a cloud nine at the moment as Sony Music has certified that he has sold 2 million copies of musical records.
The singer took to his Instagram page to share a video of the ceremony held by the record label to celebrate the latest achievement in South Africa. In the video, he was given a plaque to commemorate the success of the singles Risky, Blow My Mind and his album A Good Time
His manager, Asa Asika also took to his Instagram page to share more details about the certifications. According to him, A Good Time went 2 x platinum, Risky went platinum while Blow my mind went 2 x platinum. According to the Recording Industry of South Africa (RISA), for a single to be certified Platinum, it should have sold over 20,000 units which means that all of Davido’s records sold over 2 million copies.
