Joy & Pain

One thing I enjoyed most ’bout this number is the introductory verse by Black Bassey.
The production is impeccably nice. Both acts had this captivating chemistry on the record but it didn’t work out for me especially on the aspect of the delivery which I feel came out a bit fatigued.
To me, this is just a one-listen track. However, big kudos to Suka Sounds for the mastering.

After the whole love frenzy from Debie Rise and Black Bassey in the Big Brother show, I wouldn`t conclude by saying it was a publicity stunt to get some attention, but the two sure make a good combo.
”˜”˜Joy & Pain“ is an interesting vibe with amazing rhythm. I like the song. Debie rise has an amazing voice, Bassey was probably the shock with his deep strong voice that brought a good amount of harmony in the duet.
Is it my favourite love song? Definitely not!
