Nigerian singer Tems recently appeared on the BBC 1Xtra show to talk about her new song Me & U.
She said that she made the song just two days after shooting the video for her hit single Essence.
Tems also revealed that Me & U was actually created in 2021 as a freestyle. She said that the whole song and video for Me & U was just all about God being with her from when she was a child till her adulthood.
I wanted to make a song about my journey with God, Tems said. I wanted to share how He’s been with me every step of the way, from when I was a little girl to now that I’m an adult.
